MISSION & BIOGRAPHY
I travel, I watch, I tell, I make encounters. Through narratives and ideas, I seek a spark… a bond linking my universe to an audience.
My goal is to tell stories in order to arouse emotions, spread hope, leave a message or simply reveal a different perspective about our world.
Stefano Raspa is a storyteller, filmmaker and a XR designer/developer, member of WGI (Writers Guild Italy). He has a B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology and studied filmmaking, screenwriting and film production between Rome (LUISS Business School), New York (New York Film Academy), and Prague (Prague Film School).
He also has a MSc degree in Anthropology and Development Studies achieved at the Radboud University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. On behalf of this university he carried out fieldwork research in the Peruvian Upper Amazon Rainforest. Afterwards, he completed his studies with a Master in Innovation in Extended Reality at the University of Bologna and Eon Reality VR Academy.
He wrote and directed short films music videos and commercials selected and awarded in international film festival and he collaborated as a film critic with some magazines. He worked as a documentary filmmaker for the Smithsonian Arctic Center in Anchorage, Alaska, and served as a production manager and a first AD for some independent production companies based in Italy. He attended a professional workshop with Palomar SPA in Reggio Emilia, where he developed two projects for Tv shows. During summer 2019 he worked as a production assistant on the TV show “La Guerra é Finita” produced by RAI and Palomar SPA.
Currently, he’s working on his first documentary film and he’s collaborating as a content creator, a designer and a 3D developer, with independent production companies and cultural institutions. His focus is on innovative projects involving virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality (XR).
